A longer-term residency option for eligible skilled professionals, administered through Talent Corp. We assess eligibility, prepare the application, and guide you through a process that offers more flexibility than a standard employment-tied pass.
The Residence Pass-Talent (RP-T) is a longer-term Malaysian residency option for highly skilled professionals, administered by Talent Corporation Malaysia (TalentCorp). Once granted, it isn't tied to a single employer. Standard eligibility calls for at least three consecutive years on an Employment Pass, a basic monthly salary of at least RM15,000 excluding allowances and bonuses, a recognised degree or professional certification, and two years of Malaysian income tax filings. Approval sits with TalentCorp's RP-T panel even where the minimum criteria are met.

Because the RP-T isn't tied to one employer, it suits professionals who expect to move between roles or companies in Malaysia over the coming years, rather than those planning a short-term assignment. We prepare the eligibility case around your specific professional background, since TalentCorp assesses each application on its own merits rather than against a fixed checklist.
